WHO IS FLINT?

Flint, Michigan is the World Headquarters of Mizcellaneous Records, Inc., the parent company to WMIZ "The MIZ" Radio Station, the fastest rising Hip Hop and Rap formatted radio station in the United States. We broadcast Music, Artist Interviews, Listeners Contests and "LIVE" Remote Events. Mizcellaneous Records has just Ink a deal with Definitive Interactive Media, Inc. to bring you "ZAP•TV", "LIVE" internet TV broadcasting of original programming aimed at our Hip Hop Global Audience.

Why are we so proud to represent Flint, Michigan (a.k.a. Flint Town, Bedrock) and Detroit, Michigan (a.k.a. "Tha D" ) and the whole I-75 Cooridor from Detroit to Saginaw?

To understand why we chose Flint, Michigan as our World Headquarters, you must understand what Hip Hop and Rap is truely all about. Then take this philosophy and place it into the most economically depressed and beat up city in the United States. The people we represent have something to say and we're braodcasting it worldwide.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations released it's "25 MOST DANGEROUS CITIES IN THE UNITED STATES" and there sits my city Detroit, Michigan at #2 and my adopted city of Flint, Michigan at #3.

Detroit has always been in the Top 5 for the last 30 years and Flint seems to be laying it's own roots now. Out of the Top 3 MOST DANGEROUS CITIES IN THE UNITED STATES, MICHIGAN TAKES 2 OUT OF 3!! Not New York, Not L.A., Not Chicago, Not Atlanta. They weren't even in the Top 25?

Now I don't mean any disrespect to anyone, and certainly being on this list isn't something to be proud of, but from an economical/socialogical/psychological viewpoint its all just textbook. But we're not about textbook explainations, we're about real people living and dying in real situations. We're about bringing you the voices of those who got something important to tell the World. We chose Rap as our format because the people we represent use Rap as their format.

Is Flint, Michigan really that bad?
Yes and No. There are some really good people everywhere in the world, including Flint and Detroit. We're here! But, the underlying layer that permiates life here is one of hopelessness and depression, which equates to anger, which translates into being #2 and #3 on the FBI's Most Dangerous Cities year after year for violent crimes.

Again, I mean no disrespect to anyone, but I gotta tell it like it is people, it gets real tiresome for us here in Flint, Detroit, and St. Louis always having to watch movies being made about all these ruff riders in L.A. and N.Y. Listening to all these ganstas rapp'in about L.A. and N.Y. when the truth be told ya'll, The Real Gangsta Ball Is Here In Flint and Detroit and the guest of honor is St. Louis. Just ask the FBI!
