is your background?
Willo
Tha Wiz. Rap Artist, R&B
Songwriter, Actor. Everyday hustle. Tha Wiz Network is what I call my
services so get at me.
What
are your songs about?
I
talk about everything in my songs from growing
up a
hard head in the hood to spending money to bad choices by the
government.
Who
are your fans?
My
fans are music lovers. If u have a love for good
music and your not simple minded then you are who I rap for.
Do
you write your own songs?
Yes
and I also write for other artist. Rap and
R&B.
Who
are your musical influences?
Good
music. I love to hear good songs on the radio
because they make me want to be better. It makes me want to make songs that
everybody else will like.
How
do you describe your music to people?
I
have my own style. I would just say
my music is something to keep you wondering. Wondering what topic I
will talk about, what flow I will rap with or what song format I will use.
What
image do you think your music conveys?
I
think my image is that of a person who says
words for a reason. If u go back and listen to my songs 2 or 3 times,
you will be able to take lines and see they have more than one meaning.
I can say that I'm not promoting violence but I do tell people I will
handle any problem.
What
makes this kind od music "good" to you?
Because
it comes from the heart and I use my head when
I talk about things. I'm not gonna say
because other artist are saying it.

did you choose to play this kind of music?
Anything else would
be me not keeping it real.
What
are your career goals?
I
hope to increase my clientele. Bring in more
business
for Tha Wiz Network. I also hope to release a nationwide project soon.

What
live performance experience have you had?
I
haven't done showcases in years. I get paid
for my club shows and opening act slots. I'm available anything so if u
need me, holla.
How
do you rate your live performance ability?
Top
of the line. Many people have told
me I'm a different person on stage. I zone out during shows so I think
I'm a real good performer. Most of my shows I'm on stage alone so I have
to work hard to keep peoples attention.
Have
you recorded any previous CD's/Tapes?
Yes.
Maybe 4 years ago. I put out and
album in the south region but within 3 weeks of the release the
distribution company that shipped it to stores folded. I had several
up-and-coming producers on it. Those producers have went on to produce and have
hit
songs for major artist.
If
you could pick (3) albums to take with you
on an extended journey, what would they be?
I
would say Tupac
- Makaveli album because to me that was his best music. R. Kelly -
TP-2 because he is my favorite R&B singer and I relate to the TP-2 album
and maybe Micheal Jackson - Off The Wall because the younger Mike was my
favorite artist.
