Who
is the Katina Alford?
I
am 22. I was born in Inglewood, California. I like to make
music, design clothes, and sing in my time off. I also
enjoy promoting myself. I’m very Photogenic and creative
when it comes to taking pictures. |

How
did you get started modeling?
It
was always my dream to model. I’m not sure why I did
it, but one day I just thought I have waited long enough and
bought
me a computer and signed up with some online model sites and
every since then its been all a dream come true. |

Is
modeling all that you thought it would be?
Modeling
is all I thought it would be and more. Its been great modeling
and learning so many different things about the industry. I
never knew I would be doing wallpapers and touching up my own
pictures and promoting other models and music artists. It has
been a blessing. |

Why
do you feel that you that you have an advantage over other
models?
I
feel as though I have an advantage over other models because
I am multitalented and good at whatever I do. I am a Confident,
Energetic, Sexy, Beautiful Black woman. I know what it takes
to get where I need to go and I am not afraid to put in hard
work for it. |

What
is your biggest claim to fame?
I
would have to say my beauty and my creativeness when taking
pictures and being able to shock people when they look
at me lol. |
What
is your most important goal for 2007? In life?
My
goal for 2007 is to launch my 2007-2008 calendar, get signed
and travel more
and of course meet more people. |

Who
have been some of your main influences as a model and as
a person?
I
think as a child I always watched Michael Jackson. After
seeing him do things so big I started wondering, wow I
can do the same thing. Others things like Music Videos,
Beautiful
Women and Singers Influenced me also. |

If
you had to choose one outfit, what would it look-like?
Lol
wow, what a good question. If I had to choose one outfit it
would be a mini skirt
and a tube top |

What
kind of advise would you give someone starting out in the
business?
Listen
, Read, Research about the industry first before you get into
it. It can
get time consuming and expensive if you don’t have the knowledge. |
Do
you have any secrets for your success?
Yes,
promoting like crazy. Staying up and emailing people all day
and night to get my name out there and having a great personality
has helped me also. |

What
is the strangest thing that has happen at a photo shoot?
Um...
taking pictures at a park in a area I was not suppose to and
instead of the plice asking me to leave, they were starring
and waving |

What
is the best thing about being a model?
The
best thing about modeling is taking pictures and getting creative.
Looking back at some of the things I have done makes me love
modeling. I love getting all dressed up and changing
my looks... its hot! |

Where
do you see yourself 10 years from now?
If
I’m not modeling I hope to have successfully established
my clothing line and singing career, but of course I will have
my Bachelors in Health Administration to fall bacl on. |
